The Basics: Lead Scoring

What is Lead Scoring?

Lead Scoring helps you prioritize leads by assigning a score based on various criteria. This allows you to focus on the best opportunities and optimize your prospecting efforts.

AdvizorPro’s Lead Scoring system categorizes leads into four tiers based on their score:

How to Use Lead Scoring

Lead Score Field

  • Field Name: Lead Score
    • Categories: Excellent, Good, Fair, Not a Fit

Search Filter

You can filter your search results based on Lead Score:

  • Filter Location: In “Contacts” filter section under "Job, Title, & Role"
  • Filter Option:
    • Lead Score is a minimum of:
      • Excellent
      • Good
      • Fair
      • Not a Fit

Display Locations

  1. Search Results:
    • Lead Score appears after the State column in the search grid.
    • Displayed as a tag box:

  1. Contact Profile:
    • Shown on the left panel above the contact name.
    • Displayed in the same tag box format as in the search grid.

Setting Up the Lead Scoring Model

Accessing the Scoring Model

  • Go to the Lead Score filter section and select Manage Scores.

Scoring Sections

The scoring model is divided into two sections that mirror Advanced Search:

  1. Contact Criteria
  2. Account/Firm Criteria

Assigning Importance Levels

For each filter you select, assign an Importance Level from the dropdown:

How the Score is Calculated

  1. Sum the points for all selected filters.
  2. Divide by 100 × the number of filters.

Can I have more than one lead score model?

Yes, you can save and name multiple lead score models. Create, edit, and delete score models by selecting “Manage Scores”. Toggle between different score models by using the Scoring Model dropdown field within the Lead Score filter section. 

Example Workflow

  1. Set Your Scoring Model:
    • Assign filters and their importance levels in the Lead Score > Manage Scores link.
  2. Filter Leads:
    • In the search panel, use the Lead Score filter to view only leads that meet your criteria (e.g., “Lead Score is at least Good”).
  3. Prioritize Efforts:
    • Focus on Excellent and Good leads for outreach while reviewing Fair and excluding Not a Fit leads.

Are scores available in exports

Yes, lead scores are available as an export field when you select “excel export” from the AdvizorPro platform. The field is called “Lead Score” in your export.
